    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SLACK & PLATFORM ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR INCLUDE:

    • Monitor the fun and entertaining Slack channels to interact and encourage volunteers to engage with one another

    • Compile, create and share content such as polls, memes, and thought-provoking posts within the channels on a regular and consistent basis

    • Brainstorm and survey the interests of other volunteers to create channels that peak interest

    • Utilize the department calendar within Asana to pre-plan all Slack postings for supervisory review and approval

    • Review ‘social circles’ protocol and manage monthly gatherings within Slack Channels

    • Attend organizational bi-weekly calls and team bi-weekly calls and provide project updates to the Department Manager

    • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of ARO in alignment with its values of compassion, empathy, expertise, confidentiality, integrity, enlightenment, courage, and loyalty

    • Work effectively & efficiently individually and in collaboration as a member of a team.

    HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Working knowledge of engagement and team building

    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

    • Creative outlook

    • Willingness to mentor and be mentored

    • Working knowledge of Zoom meetings, Slack and Asana preferred

    • Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
