Slack & Platform Engagement Coordinator (Volunteer/Remote)
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SLACK & PLATFORM ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR INCLUDE:
Monitor the fun and entertaining Slack channels to interact and encourage volunteers to engage with one another
Compile, create and share content such as polls, memes, and thought-provoking posts within the channels on a regular and consistent basis
Brainstorm and survey the interests of other volunteers to create channels that peak interest
Utilize the department calendar within Asana to pre-plan all Slack postings for supervisory review and approval
Review ‘social circles’ protocol and manage monthly gatherings within Slack Channels
Attend organizational bi-weekly calls and team bi-weekly calls and provide project updates to the Department Manager
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of ARO in alignment with its values of compassion, empathy, expertise, confidentiality, integrity, enlightenment, courage, and loyalty
Work effectively & efficiently individually and in collaboration as a member of a team.
Qualifications
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Working knowledge of engagement and team building
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Creative outlook
Willingness to mentor and be mentored
Working knowledge of Zoom meetings, Slack and Asana preferred
Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
