    About Acacia Center for Justice:

    The Acacia Center for Justice (“Acacia”) provides legal support and representation to immigrants facing deportation through the development, coordination, and management of national networks of legal services providers serving immigrants across the country. Acacia’s goals are twofold: to support immigrant legal services and defense networks to provide exceptional legal services to immigrants; and to advocate for the expansion of these programs and the infrastructure critical to guaranteeing immigrants access to justice, fairness, and freedom. Acacia ensures accountable, independent, zealous, and person-centered legal services and representation to protect the rights of all immigrants.

    Job Summary:

    The IT Systems Analyst will be working closely with Acacia ITS team to support, administer and maintain systems and service operations. This individual will work under the IT Operations and Infrastructure team and report directly to the IT Operation and Infrastructure Manager to support Acacia core business applications, and cloud base systems. Additionally, this individual will work with the IT Operation and Infrastructure Manager to improve, maintain, and support organizational processes across teams, develop and update technical documentations, create SOPs and act as the escalation point from our external support team. Occasionally this individual will participate in projects and collaborate with teams in Acacia to support our external collaborators.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Support Acacia IT Onboarding and Offboarding Process.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
    • Administer and support Acacia core business applications and systems.
    • Collaborate with IT Operation and Infrastructure manager to implement and onboard new tools and services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support external collaborators.
    • Recommend process improvements and automations to support staff workflows.
    • Collaborate and communicate with vendor to troubleshoot technical issues systems related.
    • Monitor utilization of applications and systems.
    • Conduct root cause analysis.
    • Act as the escalation point of our external support (Tech Impact).
    • Create technical documentations and “how to’s” for staff using standard templates, including system configurations, processes and procedures.
    • Provide training and support to staff.
    • Working in project teams.

    Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

    • Ability to work independently in an effective and efficient manner.
    • Ability to provide updates when needed.
    • Driven, open and adaptable to change.
    • At least 3 years working with technology teams.
    • Excellent communication and written abilities.
    • Enthusiastic about consistency and self-improvement.
    • Experience working in a non-profit or for-profit environment.
    • Basic understanding of compliancy and security requirements
    • Experience with the following systems:
    • Office 365
    • MS Office
    • Azure Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, Power Automate, Cloud P.C, Defender, and Purvie
    • Google Workspace
    • Slack for Business
    • Adobe Teams
    • Zoom for Government (Conferencing and Phone solution)
    • Smartsheet Enterprise
    • Experience using and supporting Windows and Mac computers.
    • Virtualized Windows Desktop

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

    • Excellent technical writing, written and communication skills
    • Basic understanding of network technologies.
    • Experience administering cloud base applications, systems, or services.
    • Experience with either scripting languages PowerShell, HTML, CSS, Python, VBS, XML, SQL, or others.
    • Experience using Endpoint Management and Mobile Device Management platforms.
    • Experience administering Windows Servers.
    • 2–3 years administering Azure, Intune, and SharePoint environments.
    • 2-3 years administering Microsoft Exchange online or other email’s servers.
    • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and DNS Services.
    • Capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 2-3 years working as an IT Coordinator, Systems Administrator, or IT Analyst
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field
    • Preferred: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Network +, CCNA, Cloud Certification or other related certifications

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Acacia has established an internal compensation philosophy that centers equity and pay transparency. The salary for this position is set at $80,000 The salary listed is just one component of Acacia’s total compensation package for employees. Supporting Acacia staff—both personally and professionally—is our priority.
