Responsibilities: • Comfortable tutoring Spanish up to high school level • Prepare for academic sessions • Built rapport with the student • Establish session expectations • Assess student academic needs • Follow Parent requests for sessions • Provide student-centered instruction • Collaborate with teachers and other private instructors • Analyze student progress • Adjust instruction • Conference with parents Qualifications: • Effective parent and student communication • Highly reliable • Comfortable with math up to 7th grade • Professional educator • Enjoys kids of all ages and abilities • Seeks to bring out the best in students • Flexible scheduling Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly DOE
