Position Responsibilities:
Student Support and Advising
Provide academic guidance and personalized support to students.
Organize, coordinate, and conduct academic advising sessions to promote student success.
Course Scheduling
Develop, manage, and oversee course schedules in alignment with academic objectives.
Ensure scheduling efficiency while maintaining curriculum balance and meeting instructional needs.
Student Records Management
Supervise the maintenance and accuracy of student records and academic files.
Ensure adherence to institutional policies and data protection regulations.
Communication with Students and Parents
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with students.
Provide regular updates and reports to parents regarding student progress and academic performance.
Feedback Mechanisms Implementation
Design and implement systems for collecting and delivering student feedback.
Ensure feedback is constructive, timely, and supports student development.
Collaboration with Faculty
Promote consistent and effective communication among faculty members.
Assist faculty in the development and refinement of instructional materials and academic plans.
Academic Events and Initiatives
Plan and coordinate academic events such as workshops, orientations, and academic fairs.
Develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and academic achievement.
Assessment and Quality Assurance
Oversee academic assessment procedures, including exams, evaluations, and academic reviews.
Ensure compliance with institutional and external educational standards and benchmarks.
Resource Management
Support the allocation, monitoring, and effective use of academic resources.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to secure necessary instructional and operational resources.
Collaboration with Administrative Units
Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and consistent academic experience for students.
Contribute to the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures.
Support of Other Programs and Office Operations
Provide support for other institutional programs and initiatives as needed.
Greet visiting clients, deliver professional and courteous service, and guide them to the appropriate department.
Manage the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Prior experience in academic advising, student support services, or a related area.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of academic policies, institutional procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in commonly used office and academic software applications.
Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is strongly preferred.
