    Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $27.00 – $30.00/hour (commensurate with qualifications)

    THE ROLE

    Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Academic Program Services, the Academic Program Services Coordinator is responsible for providing instructional, administrative and program support to faculty, faculty-led research and other programmatic centers including general administrative support to the academic program. The Academic Program Services Coordinator will demonstrate excellent customer skills, possess superior organizational skills, and maintain impeccable attention to detail. The incumbent will be capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a team player. This role requires overtime, including some evenings or weekends, to meet critical project deadlines and support event responsibilities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ****The Academic Program Services Coordinator will provide instructional and program support, including but not limited to:

    Support of Academic Programs Involving Facult y

    • Coordinates and assists with day-to-day administration of faculty-led programs/centers.
    • Coordinates faculty center/program events including publicity, event logistics, developing materials, managing webpage, and processing travel arrangements and reimbursements.
    • Coordinates, monitors and processes program budgets, expenditures and provides budget reports.
    • Assists with data collection and data maintenance.
    • Coordinates travel for faculty program directors.
    • Maintains department /faculty academic program and faculty committee webpage.
    • Undertakes other general administrative duties and assists with special projects related to centers and programs.
    • Performs other program and administrative duties as assigned.

    Individual Faculty Support

    • ****Provides instructional and administrative support to the faculty.
    • Performs document preparation to include research projects, examinations, presentations, reports, mailings, statistical reports, student evaluations, course readers, transcriptions, and a variety of class materials.
    • Provides administrative support to faculty committees, as needed.
    • Provides assistance with faculty fiscal related matters, faculty research accounts, expense reconciliation and reporting.
    • Coordinates and hosts special events with faculty.
    • Assists with data collection and assessment efforts.
    • Monitors and maintains faculty lounge and mailboxes.
    • Assists in special administrative projects for the Academic Program Services
    • Other special projects and duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • ****Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of five years of related work experience in an Administrative or Program Coordinator role with increasing levels of responsibility.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • ****Excellent verbal and writing and communication skills
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation quality.
    • Excellent administrative and office support skills; ability to move and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines effectively with good judgment with respect to project prioritization and time management; must be punctual.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of social media platforms and strong comfort using and quickly learning online tools such as Box, Doodle Polls, iContact, Canvas, Canva, Concur, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Graphic design knowledge or experience plus.
    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player.
    • Ability to be proactive, creative, and solution/results - oriented.
