Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 1 year of tutoring exp. (preferably Math and ELA)
• Established proficiency in subject matter
• Detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Motivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellence
• Must have reliable transportation for in-person tutoring. If driving, proof of insurance for your vehicle is needed
• Must clear reference check & FBI/DOJ background check processes
• Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last 2 years)
• Please provide a copy of any certification you hold such as a Teacher’s Credential/Certification or Tutor Certification
• National Tutoring Association certification available to StudentNest tutors
