POSITION OVERVIEW:
Customer Service position at a fast-paced specialty food distribution company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answer/facilitate telephone calls, emails, and faxes
- Assist customers and outside sales representatives with entering orders and product questions
- Order entry every other weekend from home
- Contact and maintain relationships with several key accounts
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Prepare correspondence and documents, including but not limited to vendor bill backs, rebate programs, customer pricing, order guides, invoices, and statements
- Assist with the outside sales team with their clerical and reporting needs
- Communicate with warehouse team as needed regarding routing, delivering, stock questions
- Assist in taking payment for COD and credit card customers
- Monitor inventory supply and notifying buyer when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
