    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Our Event Set Up Crew is part of a team responsible for delivery, set up, and breakdown of event rental equipment from our warehouse to customer site. This means you start each day at our warehouse with your team and head to our customer’s event site together. Our event support team is ultimately responsible for delivering our event product on time and in alignment with our customer expectations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Embody and lead teams in accordance with Accel’s Core Values, as described below.

    2. Using our Accel mobile app, load and unload Accel inventory at customer sites and back at the warehouse.

    3. Ensure Accel inventory is treated with the highest degree of care, organization cleanliness and tidiness at customer sites and at the warehouse.

    4. Ensure customer event loads on to vehicles are loaded in the directed manner, ahead of time, safely and accurately.

    5. Assist in general warehouse and truck cleanup, organization and maintenance of inventory for various purposes (moves, auctions, etc) and report issues as they arise.

    6. Maintain proactive and effective communication with Supervisors, other field staff and Onsite Production Manager, to ensure customer satisfaction for events and site management is met and exceeded at all times.

    7. Problem solve issues with inventory and customer site issues with Supervisors, as directed.

    8. Ensure safety and maintenance of Accel inventory and repair/maintain inventory as directed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a warehouse or other production environment managing goods, inventory and warehouse equipment.
    • At least 2 years of experience in tenting, lighting or event production is highly desirable and can warrant the higher end of the pay range.
    • Able to demonstrate clear communication, multi-tasking and execution of complex instructions under tight deadlines.
    • Able to demonstrate diligence and proactive results driven work ethic.
    • Demonstrated experience in inventory repair and maintenance, such as with tents, chairs and other event products.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • For onsite purposes, our Event Setup Crew must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs. Please let Accel know of any physical limitations.

    Valid Driver’s License Required or State issued ID card

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Written/verbal communication skills
    • Must have a smart phone with the ability to download and use applications
    • Ability to use Accel company mobile application.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • This is an hourly position. 
    • This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend duties.  
    • This position primarily operates in a warehouse and outdoor environment. 
    • This position routinely operates vehicles and warehouse equipment. 
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. 
    • The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

    HOW WE’LL MEASURE YOUR SUCCESS (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS): 

    • On-time completion of assigned tasks at 95% or more. This includes showing up on time and ready to work for all scheduled shifts.
    • 95% or higher in product identification/SOP test
