    Qualifications:

    A Bachelor's Degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in a field of health, behavioral health, rehabilitation, human services, human development, education, social sciences, criminal justice, administration, management, organizational development, information management, business or a related field or discipline.

    3 years’ experience gathering and analyzing data for quality management, quality assurance or quality improvement for a health or human services provider agency, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

    5 years of experience in North Carolina Therapeutic Foster Care service delivery, supervision or management. Trained and demonstrated expert in Together Facing the Challenge, IAFT and Preservice Training for Foster Parents

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    A Master’s Degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in a field of health, behavioral health, rehabilitation, human services, human development, education, social sciences, criminal justice, administration, management, organizational development, information management, business or a related field or discipline.

    1 year of experience gathering and analyzing data for quality management, quality assurance or quality improvement for a health or human services provider agency, or an equivalent combination of training and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    The Foster Care Training Manager is a leadership position responsible for oversight, coordination, scheduling and management of Foster Care training and other tasks as assigned. This includes training and fidelity oversight for evidence-based practices, licensing and MCO requirements for Foster Care staff and foster parents. This position reports to the Foster Care Director and works closely with the Quality Assurance Director and Regional Directors to provide consistent training and orientation of Foster Care staff and foster parents to ensure compliance to all State, Federal, county, and accreditation standards, along with agency policy and procedures. Travel 50% travel between community and program locations is required.
