ACCESS PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS is seeking enthusiastic therapist in our Danbury, CT clinic. Access operates with a one-on-one, 2 patients per hour model, allowing therapists to provide quality care. This is a great position for a therapist with interest and/or experience treating Vestibular and Neurologic patients with conditions such as PD, MS, concussions, migraines and chronic pain complaints. Specialization in geriatric rehabilitation is also a plus including balance training and fall prevention.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

• In addition to a Medbridge subscription and at least two ACCESS hosted continuing education courses per year, you will receive an additional $500 and up to two days off per year for approved continuing education courses.
• We will reimburse you for the cost of any relevant specialty certification once you pass the exam.
• For each student that you mentor as a CI, an additional $250 will be added to the above continuing education allowance.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The physical therapist must be licensed in Connecticut and hold a degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Our physical therapist must have: an empathetic personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills and people skills and be good team players . Strong manual therapy skills desired.

BASIC JOB DETAILS: The physical therapist is responsible of the care of each of their patients and the supervision of the physical therapy assistants and aides. The physical therapist is responsible for all documentation pertaining to the patients. The therapist must be able to perform the physical demands of their job, which may include, lifting, pushing, pulling and assisting patients with exercise and patient transfers.
