ACCESS PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS IS SEEKING ENTHUSIASTIC A PHYSICAL THERAPIST AIDE IN OUR BEDFORD, NY OFFICE! We are a PT-owned facility that emphasizes the highest levels of quality care and 100% patient satisfaction with all aspects of the rehabilitation experience. This is a great opportunity for a student thinking about entering the field.

Exercise experience and knowledge is not required but would be a big plus so they can function well both at the desk and in the gym area with physical therapist.

This position is Part Time

SCHEDULE IS TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 3PM-8PM IN BEDFORD AND APPROX 1 SATURDAY PER MONTH.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

•A friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic, positive team player. They must possess excellent communication skills, consistently exceed customer expectations, and make the team's success their priority.

•A confident, good listener who communicates the value of physical therapy

•A sincere, flexible individual, who supports the therapists, is a liaison between the therapists and the patients; and assists in maintaining a clean, professional environment.

ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES OR DUTIES:

•Set up and clean up for patient sessions.

•Asking questions to determine the customers' needs, and directing customers/visitors to the appropriate staff.

•Assisting therapists with laundry, escorting patients into gym, making sure patients are comfortable.

Must be ability to lift and carry 15-20lbs, ability to get up/down from the floor, ability to ascend/descend stairs while carrying items.
