ACCESS PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS is seeking a responsible, energetic and friendly PT to join our team at our Good Samaritan Hospital Outpatient location. This is a full time position, working in a location with a great “family atmosphere”.
Good Samaritan Hospital Outpatient is a multi-disciplinary hospital based outpatient clinic seeing a wide variety of patients from medically complex to sports injuries. This department also has several specialized areas to provide continuum of care within the Bon Secours Charity Health System including lymphedema and concussion management.
We are looking for an enthusiastic compassionate and engaged physical therapist in hospital-based outpatient to treat general medical/musculoskeletal population, but also require already being currently certified in lymphedema care or willingness to take continuing education/be trained in this area of care. Two evenings per week until 6/7pm required. Any additional training in oncological care, pre or post-natal care, pelvic floor rehab, and pediatrics appreciated. Will also consider per diem of 20-29 hours/week.

Essential Job Qualifications: The physical therapist must be licensed in New York and hold a degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Our physical therapist must have: an empathetic personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills and people skills and be good team players . Strong manual therapy skills desired.
Basic Job Details: The physical therapist is responsible of the care of each of their patients and the supervision of the physical therapy assistants and aides. The physical therapist is responsible for all documentation pertaining to the patients. The therapist must be able to perform the physical demands of their job, which may include, lifting, pushing, pulling and assisting patients with exercise and patient transfers.
