  • Customized mentorship provided by a veteran therapist
  • 2 patients per hour model, allowing time for excellent care
  • Opportunity to work with a diverse orthopedic population including sports (to the students from the three Kent boarding schools), orthopedic, manual and geriatric rehabilitation.
  • Ability to utilize or obtain certifications in vestibular, concussion, dry needling or manual therapy.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The physical therapist must be licensed in Connecticut and hold a degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Our physical therapist must have: an empathetic personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills and people skills and be good team players.

BASIC JOB DETAILS: The physical therapist is responsible of the care of each of their patients and the supervision of the physical therapy assistants and aides. The physical therapist is responsible for all documentation pertaining to the patients. The therapist must be able to perform the physical demands of their job, which may include, lifting, pushing, pulling and assisting patients with exercise and patient transfers.
