    This is a fast paced environment. Machinists are currently required to write their own programs at the machine which is causing major OTD delays and quality issues. Without adding programming capacity, this location will be forced to start declining new orders. Looking to fill position immediately with a Sr. Level candidate.WORK SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri: 7am - 330pm. SHIFTS MAY VARY ANYWHERE FROM 8-10 HOURS.PERTINENT REQUIREMENTS- MUST POSSESS High School Diploma or GED- Minimum 8-10 years? experience in the process of turning and milling parts across various work centers.- Must be proficient with CAM software (ESPRIT)- Must have in-depth understanding of machining operations, (turning, boring, milling, drill & tap).- Experience with creating solid models from drawings for use in programming.- Hands on experience working in Machine Shops with lathes and mills.- Proficient understanding of setting up, programming, troubleshooting, operation of CNC and manual milling machines.- Proficient understanding of setting up, programming, troubleshooting, operation of CNC and manual lathe machines.- Efficient/Effective time management.DO NOT DISCLOSE PAY RANGES TO CANDIDATES. SPONSORSHIPS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED AT ANY STAGE.DESCRIPTION:Manufacturing group is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer, themain responsibilities of this role include:-Formulate efficient operational programs that maximize machine utilization and product quality to assure customerexpectations are met.-Complete and maintain program documentation and filing systems.-Maintain availability to the short-term needs of the shop to keep the NC Machines running at 100% efficiency.-Contribute to cost reduction programs by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.-Maintain updated on current technology in processes and tooling and effectively apply to NOV operations.-Develop and maintain communication with all personnel.-Maintain responsibility for routers for part programs created.-Responsible for coordinating with Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for part programs created or modified.-Perform other work related task as required as assigned.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES-Utilize "Esprit CAD CAM" software.-Formulate efficient operational programs that maximize machine utilization and product quality to assure customerexpectations are met.-Complete and maintain program documentation and filing systems.-Maintain availability to the short-term needs of the shop to keep the NC Machines running at 100% efficiency.-Contribute to cost reduction programs by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.-Maintain updated on current technology in processes and tooling and effectively apply to  operations.-Verify program accuracy using simulations.-Develop and maintain communication with all personnel to include accepting suggestions and instruction.-Responsible for coordinating with Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for part programs created or modified.-Perform other work related task as assigned.-Comply with all  Company and HSE procedures and policies.-Maintain responsibility for routers for part programs created.
