    We are seeking a driven and results oriented sales manager to lead our Fargo Sales Team. As a key member of the Metro Sales organization, the Branch Selling Sales Manager is responsible for managing field sales and business development activities in the region.

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Grow territory revenue and optimize profit within existing base and new business opportunities
    • Lead new business development and growth initiatives within the region
    • Actively develop and manage a talented sales team
    • Drive sales results through individual and team activity
    • Support the utilization of Metro Sales sales tools, methodologies and best practices
    • Develop assigned sales representatives in the areas of product knowledge, sales activities, selling skills and strategies, time and territory management.
    • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
    • Prospect for new business in order to consistently increase sales, penetrate territory, & increase customer base and market share.
    • Invest time and energy in training for personal development in the areas of selling skills and product knowledge.
    • Conduct business honestly, ethically, and with integrity, which will develop trust & respect with customers and fellow employees.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College degree not required.
    • 5 years proven success in B2B prospecting, cold calling, and closing in a competitive market.
    • 2-3 years experience managing a sales team (3-5 reps) is preferred.
    • Track record of over-achieving sales goals
    • Strong knowledge in business equipment and technology sales is preferred
    • Highly motivated to succeed and coach/develop others to achieve success
    • Ability to recruit and train successful sales representatives
    • High drive/energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage the sales process and provide sales planning
    • Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation skills
    • Computer proficiency in MS Office, e-mail and internet functions.
