IT solutions company located in the Western New York area (Buffalo) specializing in providing high-end information technology to clients across WNY and multiple states is currently hiring a Network Engineer. The candidate must meet the qualifications below. Must be professional, customer-focused, self-driven, and team-oriented—salary contingent on experience and competency.

IT Network Engineer: The candidate will possess the following:

Proven history working with ticket and RMM systems.

Server management experience. Active Directory, Virtualization (VMware), NAS/SAN configuration.

Competency with networking technologies. Solid understanding of IPv4, TCP/IP, switching and routing.

Networking: Switches, Routers, Cables, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency.

Level 1-2 troubleshooting of end-user issues as required. This includes G-Suite, Office 365, Azure/AD, printing, wireless devices, website access, and security.

Monitoring system performance and implementing performance tuning.

Provisioning network monitoring systems.

Attention to detail.

Customer-focused attitude and high performance driven.

Strong analytical skills and problem solving.

Helpdesk, on-site support and remote end-user support.

Manage workflow, daily timesheets and calendar.

Grow into a valued team member who learns and adapts quickly to challenges.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred but not required. Information Technology or 3+ years experience in a Network Engineer Role is a must.
