ROLE OVERVIEW   The Finance Intern will make an impact across many areas of a recently-public company in the fast-growing Health Care IT space. Working within Financial Operations and Financial Planning and Analysis, they will support sales activities and customer contracting, procurement activities and vendor management, forecasting and budgeting and special projects as the need arises. Using finance and accounting core skills, the intern will contribute to our ongoing growth and success and gain exposure to many areas of Accolade, including Legal, Sales, Customer Partnerships, People & Culture and Actuarial.  A DAY IN THE LIFE…  The Finance Team has a wide variety of impactful responsibilities. The Finance Intern will support the team in the following areas: 

• Sales and contracting support, for new and existing customers 
• Procurement activities, including vendor contracting and vendor contract management  
• Revenue and cash receipts forecasting, spend forecasting 
• Support analysis of employee benefits spend and employee stock plans 
• Ad hoc analyses and special projects

Qualifications

• Major in finance, accounting or related field of study 
• Strong quantitative skills 
• Strong writing and presentation skills 
• Excel ninja 
• Ability to manage projects and multitask
