We are seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO (“the CoS”) who will enable our CEO to work most effectively with his internal team, external stakeholders, and clients. This role is a combination of a strategic, facilitative, and administrative responsibilities that requires a willingness to play an active role in the business while assisting the CEO. As the CEO's ‘trusted counsel', the role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the ‘eyes and ears' of the CEO to better align all teams and business units
- Preparation for, and facilitation of, the CEO's meetings with partners, leadership team, or clients ensuring the CEO's time is leveraged most effectively during all meetings.
- Attend & participate in strategy & leadership meetings, capture major take-aways, and work with the leadership team to ensure follow up & execution of decisions
- Provide critical business and employee data to leadership team to facilitate strategic decisions
- Facilitate communication of decisions & direction from the CEO to the leadership team
- Coordination/orchestration of projects or commitments directly involving the CEO and his direct reports.
- Going beyond calendar management to proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of the CEO's commitments
- Support the executive team's communications with the CEO by facilitating decisions the executive staff needs feedback on from the CEO
- Leadership of special projects that may be confidential or time sensitive issues that will need to reside within the office of the CEO
- Represent the CEO in meetings that the CEO cannot attend or communication that the CEO cannot respond to.
- Preparation of business, sales, marketing, and/or investor decks for the CEO
- Advise & execute on employee engagement and retention, talent reviews, and change management
- Administer recruiting efforts & new hire onboarding process
- Company Human Resources POC, with the aid of Finance for items payroll & benefits related

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience in an operations or EA role, primarily in services based SMB and/or tech startups
- Must be located in Austin, TX
- Proficient with Mac OS , Google Suite & Cloud based tools
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Full-Time Salaried Exempt role based out of our Austin, TX HQ
- Candidate is expected to work onsite at least 75% of the time.
