Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities, performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility

Responsilities:

• Meet physical and sensory requirements
• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules, regulation, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility
• Make oral and written reports/ recommendations concerning the activities of your shift, as required.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services and be certain that the residents total reqimen of care is maintained
• Chart nurses notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the residents response to care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• RN with active and current state license

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Highest level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality

• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Approachable, flexible and adaptable tot change

• Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors

• Education

  Entry Level (0-2 years)

• Experience

• Associates Degree

• BSN, MSN

• Current and active state or multi-state license

• Successfully completed an accredited RN program and awaiting state board completion
