Position Summary
The Account Executive owns the full sales cycle - from discovery to close - for mid-market HR and legal buyers. This is a high-impact role for someone excited to shape the future of HR tech, close meaningful deals, and help organizations solve complex compliance problems with speed and confidence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos to pricing, negotiation, and close
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through self-generated outbound leads, inbound leads and SDR support
- Deliver consultative sales experiences rooted in understanding HR compliance needs and urgency
- Collaborate with SDRs to improve outreach messaging and conversion rates
- Keep detailed records of opportunities, objections, and buying timelines in HubSpot and Salesforce
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable on the industry trends and the competitive landscape
- Communicate feedback and trends to Marketing and Product teams
- Partner with Customer Success post-sale to ensure seamless handoff and long-term value
- Drive referrals and expansion opportunities within your book of business
- Travel is required occasionally to attend team onsite meetings, customer events, industry conferences, and training sessions. This may include air travel, ground transportation (including cars, taxis, or rideshare services), and in some cases potential public transportation.
- Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.
- Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices related to the company and department.
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs).
- At least three years' experience in a full cycle SaaS sales role, preferably in HR, compliance or legal tech.
- A strong and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft, Slack, Loom, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Comfortable in a startup environment where you'll have a voice in shaping processes and strategy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.
