Forefront Global Logistics LLC is looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join our growing team in Elk Grove Village, IL. Responsibilities:
Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within the logistics and freight industry
Manage and grow an existing book of accounts through consistent communication and exceptional service
Identify customer shipping needs and present tailored freight and logistics solutions
Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless execution of client shipments
Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to drive revenue and profitability
Track sales pipeline activity and maintain accurate CRM records
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
1-3 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in logistics, freight, or supply chain
Strong understanding of freight brokerage, transportation, or 3PL services is a plus
Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to exceed goals
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
