Job Description
** Role summary**
You will own outbound customer acquisition and pipeline generation end-to-end: prospecting (cold email + cold calling + LinkedIn), booking demos, running pilot/POC commercial motions, and CRM ownership from first contact through close.
** Key responsibilities**
- Build and execute a territory/outbound plan to source and qualify target accounts (academic labs, biotech/pharma R&D, CROs, discovery teams).
- Run structured cold outreach (email sequences, calls, LinkedIn) and book discovery/demo meetings.
- Lead discovery → technical demo → pilot/POC → conversion motion; negotiate pilot scope and commercial terms with support from solutions/founders.
- Full CRM ownership: create and maintain accounts, contacts, deals, activities and forecasts. Log all interactions promptly and accurately.
- Enter and tag conference/event leads, run follow-up cadences, and measure event ROI.
- Collaborate with Product & Marketing to iterate ICP, messaging, and outreach sequences based on real customer feedback.
- Serve as the primary voice of the customer — document objections, feature requests, and competitive intel.
- Prioritize and rigorously disqualify low-fit opportunities to focus on high-probability deals.
- Produce clear handoffs to Solutions/Customer Success with complete CRM documentation.
