    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Account Executive is at the forefront of C3 Industries' wholesale business, helping drive 3rd party revenue by selling C3 Industries' products and brands to retailers in the state. As an Account Executive you will pursue, manage and grow customer relationships at dispensaries across the market as well as onboard and support accounts with merchandising, training and activations as needed. This is a role that requires strong sales ability (leading from a place of authenticity and in service of our customers), data proficiency (make recommendations informed by data and customer needs), organization (manage assets, scheduling and follow-ups relentlessly) and grit (ability to wear multiple hats and handle ambiguity/imperfection).

    JOB DUTIES:

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Learn about our portfolio of products and brands to effectively drive sales with new and existing customers.
    • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's needs – what products and brands are selling well? How can our portfolio of products support our customers?
    • Understand the competitive landscape and ensure C3 remains informed of developments and opportunities to grow market share - what trends are we seeing? How can we be proactive and work with our customers to navigate these?
    • Implement strategies created by sales leadership and also help inform sales leadership strategies by providing active feedback.
    • Deliver results that hit or exceed established sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
    • Research and engage with prospective dispensary groups through referrals, networking, and cold calling.
    • Actively maintain and expand current accounts through frequent contact with decision makers, ensuring sell-through and aligning with customer objectives.
    • Participate and drive occasional event participation within the market to promote C3 brands and stay connected to the market at-large.
    • Own the merchandising strategy for our accounts by ensuring that each door has adequate visual displays and promotional swag to support C3 brand sell-through.
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure that physical and digital brand assets are routinely distributed and updated to all active dispensaries.
    • Proactively manage sales to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Build relationships with industry associations, vendors, and other industry contacts to maintain a collaborative reputation within the market.
    • Create and submit customer orders using our in-house ordering system; monitor sell-through and ensure that product is accurately accounted for and that delivery and payment is scheduled accordingly.
    • Actively work with facility teams on delivery coordination; assist them if questions come up related to your submitted orders.
    • Ensure that brand materials/mediums are actively updated and distributed to your accounts.
    • Drive volume and unit growth, account and door growth, and customer satisfaction.
    • Be comfortable navigating ad-hoc tasks that come up in the sales process while balancing established deadlines for internal admin processes needed to ensure successful sales execution.
    • Complete the required processes for sales order processing, data tracking, reporting and sales schedules.
    • Participate in internal meetings as needed to develop, inform and foster collaboration internally.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years related experience or equivalent (sales / account management), experience within cannabis a plus.
    • Comprehensive understanding of trends and best practices in sales.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM software.
    • Knowledge of KPI's and metrics, with an established track record of meeting or exceeding those goals.
    • Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, work from alternate locations and work outside normal business hours as needed.
    • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
    • Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships, operate in an environment of ambiguity, and maintain strict confidentiality.
    • Strong results- orientation and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables.
    • Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
    • Must be 21 years of age and can pass a background check.
    • Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
