    Overview:
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to lead business development efforts for our home health services. The ideal candidate has a strong Medicare home health book of business or, at minimum, well-established referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other key partners. This role requires a strategic sales approach, consistent networking, and the ability to maintain a referral mix of at least 60% Medicare.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and other referral sources to drive new patient referrals.

    • Maintain a minimum of 60% Medicare-based referrals, with the remaining 40% from other sources (private duty referrals, community partners, etc.).

    • Create and execute a targeted marketing plan to achieve and exceed referral goals.

    • Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, and networking events to expand the referral base.

    • Serve as the main liaison between referral sources and the agency, providing timely updates and ensuring smooth patient transitions.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community.

    • Collaborate with internal leadership to align sales efforts with agency growth strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within home health or healthcare-related industries.

    • Existing network of referral sources, ideally with Medicare experience.

    • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and referral processes.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.

    Compensation Structure:

    • Base salary + commission.

    • Lower base salary options carry reduced quotas, allowing earlier commission eligibility.

    • Commission potential is tied directly to meeting and exceeding referral targets.

    Hiring Process:

    • 2–3 interview stages with agency leadership.
