About the Account Executive Role
As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outbound outreach to closing and post-sale account expansion. You’ll work directly with top-level decision-makers across school districts, building strategic relationships and driving revenue.
This is a high-ownership role designed for ambitious sales professionals ready to take their skills to the next level.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to close, with key stakeholders in the K–12 education space
Travel up to 60% of the month for in-person meetings (when not in-office)
Develop deep, multi-threaded relationships with superintendents, CIOs, and curriculum leaders
Create and close high-impact, customized deals that support district priorities and learning goals
Consistently meet or exceed quota, with full pipeline ownership and accountability
Maintain accurate sales data and forecasts through CRM tools
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience (SaaS, EdTech, or Pharma preferred)
Proven track record of exceeding $1M+ annual sales quotas
A passion for educational equity and access
Grit, creativity, and a willingness to knock on doors, cold call, and outwork the competition
Excellent communication skills and storytelling ability backed by data
Experience navigating complex sales cycles and public procurement processes
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
