The Opportunity: Account Executive – Strategic Partnerships
Scientific Safety Alliance (SSA) is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to accelerate growth through high-impact partnerships with adjacent service providers, including cleanroom builders, validation firms, equipment distributors, and specialty cleaning companies.
This role is fundamentally about creating leverage: identifying where SSA's capabilities intersect with others serving the same clients, and turning those relationships into scalable, recurring revenue. You will build a strong ecosystem of cleanroom-focused partners and ensure SSA is top of mind as projects move from design and construction to certification and ongoing maintenance.
You will collaborate closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, co-market with partners, and establish repeatable business rhythms that expand SSA's reach across target regions. At SSA, you will not just sell services. You will help build something new: a national network of world-class companies redefining how science stays operational.

Deliverables & Outcomes
Track, Prospect & Win New Opportunities
Monitor cleanroom construction and renovation activity across targeted geographies.
Proactively build and nurture relationships with cleanroom design and construction firms to uncover upcoming projects and long-term partnership opportunities.
Build & Strengthen Partnerships
Establish and manage partnerships with adjacent service providers (e.g., sanitation, validation, equipment) to broaden SSA's network and referral channels.
Conduct regular joint-planning meetings with partners to align forecasts, schedules, and quoting cycles.
Convert & Collaborate
Gather project documentation and coordinate with SSA sales/operations to scope, price, and support proposals.
Influence decision-makers and convert new builds into recurring certification and maintenance contracts.
Become an Industry Thought Partner
Represent SSA at key sector events (Interphex, ISPE, EAS, etc.) to expand visibility and deepen partner relationships.
Collaborate with marketing on co-branded webinars, roundtables, and other initiatives that reinforce SSA's market leadership.
Skill s & Experience for Success
2–3+ years in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales (cleanroom, life sciences, or technical services a plus).
Demonstrated success generating revenue through strategic relationships.
Strong communication and executive-style presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and relationship pipelines independently.
CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
Highly adaptable and energized by a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
