    Job Description

Account Executive, Strategic Partnerships: The Growth Architect

    The Mission

As the Account Executive for Strategic Partnerships , you aren’t just selling a product—you’re engineering an ecosystem. You will be the visionary responsible for hunting, securing, and activating high-impact partnerships with Financial Advisory firms, Health Systems, and TPAs.

Your goal? To turn industry giants into powerful engines for SmartConnect, making us the undisputed Medicare solution for their clients. If you thrive on complex deal cycles, high-level negotiation, and the thrill of seeing a single "Yes" turn into a flood of referrals, this is your stage.

    What You’ll Own

    • The Hunt: Identify and conquer untapped markets. You’ll use tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to penetrate the C-Suite and secure partnerships that expand our footprint.
    • The Pitch: Forget "feature-dumping." You’ll deliver masterclass demonstrations that show organizational leaders how SmartConnect boosts their retention and adds massive value to their bottom line.
    • The Close: You are the architect of the deal. You’ll lead high-level negotiations, structuring tiered incentives and mutually beneficial contracts that ensure long-term volume.
    • The Hand-off: You don’t just sign paper; you ignite action. You’ll ensure partners are fully "activated" and referring clients before passing the torch to our Account Management team.
    • The Presence: You’ll be the face of the brand at FinTech, HealthTech, and HR Benefits conferences, turning a handshake at a booth into a million-dollar channel.

    Your DNA

    • A Closer’s Mindset: You don’t just manage a pipeline; you drive it. You have a proven track record of navigating complex B2B2C deal cycles.
    • Strategic Fluency: You speak the language of CEOs and Finance Directors. You understand the nuances of the Healthcare and Financial Advisory landscapes.
    • Relentless Drive: You are self-motivated and proactive, with the emotional intelligence to pivot your strategy in real-time.
    • Collaborative Spirit: You’re a solo hunter who knows how to play with the pack, working interdepartmentally to create world-class B2B collateral.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience: A BA/BS degree and a seasoned background in Business Development or Strategic Accounts.
    • Knowledge: High-level Medicare expertise (Supplement, Advantage, Part D) is a major plus, but the ability to master complex industries is a must.
    • Tech Stack : Proficiency in Salesforce and lead-gen tools is your bread and butter.(Zoom Info, LinkedIn)
    • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, a detail-oriented process, and the ability to solve problems before they even reach the surface.

The SVG Way: How We Win

We don’t just work; we lead. We expect our AEs to embody our core behaviors:

    • Be Forward Thinking: Don't just follow the map—draw a better one.
    • Be Accomplished: Focus on results, not just activity.
    • Be Open & Honest: Transparent communication is our bedrock.
    • Be the Example: Empower those around you through your work ethic and integrity.
