    About Petlibro

Petlibro is a fast-growing market leader in pet tech products and services. We are building the future of pet wellness by using smart AIoT products, connected devices, and AI-powered insights to help pets live healthier, happier, better, and longer lives.

Just as wearables and health platforms have changed how people track their own health, Petlibro is bringing real-time data and intelligence to pet care — helping modern pet parents better understand their pets’ feeding, hydration, behavior, and daily needs.

Our products include smart feeders, water fountains, cameras, and litter box technologies used by millions of pet owners. Petlibro already has a strong in-store presence across major U.S. retailers including Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Costco, and other leading retail partners.

We are now entering the next stage of offline retail growth: expanding GMV, increasing store count, growing assortment, improving sell-through, and making Petlibro the leading smart pet technology brand across major retail channels.

    Role Overview

Petlibro is looking for an analytical and highly driven Account Growth Manager (Retail Partnerships) to help scale our U.S. brick-and-mortar retail business.

This is a high-impact and highly visible individual contributor role with significant ownership and visibility across the business. This role is designed for individuals who have early experience in sales, account management, distribution, or rep firm environments and are ready to transition into a modern consumer brand operating at scale. Offline retail remains one of the largest opportunities for the company, and the person in this role will help scale that business in a modern way — using data, AI tools, retail analytics, strong execution, and clear commercial judgment to expand distribution, grow GMV, and build stronger partnerships with major retailers.

This person will work across major retail partners such as Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Costco, and other key accounts. The goal is clear: protect our existing retail placements, grow store count, expand assortment, improve sell-through, and drive major revenue and profit growth for both Petlibro and our retail partners.

As the business scales, this role may also have the opportunity to help build and lead Petlibro’s retail account management function.

    What You’ll Do

    Grow Major Retail Accounts

Help grow Petlibro’s offline retail business across Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Costco, and other major retailers.

Drive GMV growth through increased store count, expanded assortment, better merchandising, stronger promotions, and improved sell-through.

Protect existing placements by identifying risks early and solving issues related to sales velocity, inventory, replenishment, pricing, promotions, and retailer execution.

Support line reviews, QBRs, and buyer meetings with clear data, insights, and recommendations.

Build account plans that define how each retailer can grow with Petlibro.

Use Data and Modern Tools to Drive Results

Analyze POS data, sell-through, store count, velocity, inventory, margin, promotion ROI, and forecast accuracy.

Use data to identify what is working, what is not working, and where the next growth opportunity is.

Leverage AI and modern productivity tools to improve account planning, reporting, forecasting, presentation development, competitive analysis, and decision-making.

Turn complex retail data into clear business actions for buyers and internal teams.

Work with Retailers and Internal Teams

Work with buyers, category managers, replenishment teams, retail operations, and e-commerce partners.

Support negotiations around assortment, store count, merchandising, promotions, inventory, and shelf placement.

Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and overseas sales operations teams to execute retail plans.

Coordinate forecasting, replenishment, reporting, promotion planning, and issue resolution across time zones.

    Who We’re Looking For

We are especially interested in candidates who are smart, analytical, business-minded, and eager to grow. You do not need decades of retail account management experience. You do need to understand retail, learn quickly, use data well, and take ownership.

We are especially interested in individuals who:

Have strong discipline in sales execution and account management

Are comfortable working with numbers, data, and performance metrics

Want to transition from traditional sales environments into modern, brand-led growth roles

Are motivated to build a long-term career in consumer brands or retail strategy

    Strong backgrounds may include:

Category management, merchandising, buying, planning, replenishment, or vendor management at retailers such as Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Costco, Best Buy, Chewy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, or similar companies.

Sales, account management, sales planning, category management, or analyst roles at consumer brands selling into major retailers.

Manufacturer sales representative, broker, or retail agency experience supporting Walmart, Target, Costco, PetSmart, Best Buy, or similar accounts.

Consulting, analytics, retail strategy, or commercial operations experience with exposure to consumer products or retail.

    Qualifications

    Required

2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, distributor networks, rep firms, or related roles

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with sales data, POS data, inventory, margin, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Strong discipline in sales execution and account management

Strong business judgment and ability to turn data into clear recommendations.

Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive projects across teams.

Interest in using AI tools and modern workflows to work faster and smarter.

Comfortable collaborating across multiple time zones, with reasonable flexibility in working hours as needed.

    Preferred

Experience working inside a major retailer in category management, buying, merchandising, planning, replenishment, or vendor management.

Experience at a manufacturer sales rep firm, broker, retail agency, or consumer brand selling into major retailers.

Experience with Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Costco, Best Buy, Chewy, or regional pet chains.

Category experience in pet, consumer electronics, small appliances, smart home, connected devices, durable goods, or AIoT products.

Strong analytical and problem-solving foundation (through academic or professional experience).

Mandarin language skills are a plus due to collaboration with overseas teams.
