About this Job
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding NielsenIQ’s (NIQ) footprint within the media agency space. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with media agencies, developing and executing a strategic sales plan to increase revenue through NIQ Data-as-a-Service solutions. Leveraging your media experience, this role will be responsible for driving & developing client relationships, optimize client investments, and help agencies utilize NIQ’s data to improve audience targeting, planning and campaign measurement.
The ideal candidate will be determined, self-motivate with media agency experience—ideally in programmatic trading, data onboarding, or media buying - and is eager to bring that operational knowledge into a client-facing, revenue-generating role. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your hands-on industry experience while learning the consultative sales process from senior sellers and growing into a full-cycle sales executive.
Responsibilities
Responsible for prospecting, networking, and developing new business opportunities with media agencies
Evangelize NIQ data assets with media agencies to drive pipeline on custom and syndicated audiences.
Leverage your media agency background to understand client needs and contribute to strategic recommendations
Participate in client discovery conversations and help tailor NIQ solutions to agency use cases
Generating sales leads and maintaining a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of clients consistent with NIQ’s growth strategy.
Assist with the development of sales materials, proposals, and client-facing presentations
Help maintain a clean and organized sales pipeline through CRM tools and regular reporting
Act as a liaison between sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction
Build fluency in NIQ’s data, tools, and measurement offerings and how they map to the agency planning and buying workflow
Stay current with industry trends in digital media, programmatic buying, and data activation
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience working at a media agency in a programmatic trader, data onboarder, or media buying role
Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes, audience data, and digital ad operations
Interest in transitioning into a client-facing sales or business development role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a consultative approach
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience using DSPs, onboarding platforms, or audience tools is a strong plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus
BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field

Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $74,900.00 - $89,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
