This role serves as the primary point of contact for a book of business consisting of approximately 35 to 50 schools and is responsible for guiding school leaders through RedefinED’s proven 4-step FUNDamentals process. The Relationship Manager (Account Manager) plays a critical role in helping schools strengthen and grow their financial aid programs, increase participation in state tax credit initiatives, and build long-term sustainability. This position operates within a team-based structure, working closely with an Assistant Relationship Manager and reporting directly to a Regional Market Manager. Responsibilities: Relationship Management and School Support • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of 35 to 50 partner schools • Build strong, trusted relationships with school leadership teams • Guide schools step by step through RedefinED’s 4-step FUNDamentals process • Support schools in growing their financial aid programs and strengthening long-term sustainability • Help increase awareness and participation in tax credit scholarship programs within each school community Community Education and Outreach • Spearhead community education initiatives to increase awareness of tax credit programs and financial aid opportunities • Deliver presentations virtually and in person to school communities, donors, and local stakeholders • Conduct proactive outreach through email and phone to support engagement and participation efforts • Partner with schools to help educate parents, community members, and supporters on program impact and accessibility Program Execution • Lead implementation efforts with partner schools to ensure consistent progress and results • Provide strategic direction, education, and support to school administrators • Monitor school engagement, participation levels, and program outcomes • Identify opportunities for growth and proactively address challenges Team Collaboration • Work closely with an Assistant Relationship Manager to support school communication, scheduling, and follow-up • Report to and collaborate with a Regional Market Manager on performance, priorities, and strategy • Maintain strong internal communication and alignment with centralized support teams Professional Representation • Represent RedefinED in a professional, knowledgeable, and mission-driven manner • Conduct virtual and occasional in-person meetings with school leaders and community groups • Travel approximately 1 to 2 days per month for school visits, presentations, team meetings, or regional engagement Operational Excellence • Maintain accurate documentation and Salesforce CRM records • Follow established processes, reporting standards, and performance expectations • Track key performance indicators tied to school engagement, outreach, and program growth Qualifications: • 3 to 5+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, education, nonprofit work, or a client-facing professional role • Experience presenting to groups and leading educational or community outreach efforts preferred • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities at once • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven • Professional presence and confidence in working with school leadership teams and community members • Alignment with RedefinED’s mission to expand educational access and opportunity • Ability to travel approximately 1 to 2 days per month Work Environment and Travel • Hybrid role combining remote work with scheduled in-person engagement • Travel required approximately 1 to 2 days per month • Annual performance-based compensation review • Clear advancement path as the book of business and leadership responsibilities grow • Comprehensive benefits package Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonus
