    TITLE: Accounts Receivable Clerk

    TYPE: Contract-to-hire

    HOURS: 40 hours per week

    CONTRACT LENGTH: 3-month Contract to Hire

    LOCATION: Remote

    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are looking for a dedicated and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our client’s financial team in managing client accounts and ensuring prompt payment of invoices. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the cash flow of the company and requires strong attention to detail, as well as sound communication.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Follow up with clients on overdue invoices via phone, email, and other communication channels.

    • Record collection activities and maintain up-to-date records in the company’s ERP, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

    • Assist in resolving discrepancies or disputes related to payments or invoices.

    • Prepare and send reminders, statements, and payment notices to clients.

    • Generate and analyze aging reports to prioritize collection efforts.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and streamline payment processes.

    • Support the implementation of systems and procedures to optimize accounts receivable workflows.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts receivable role is preferred.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles related to accounts receivable

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts receivable role is preferred.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • This position is remote-based, with occasional travel (estimated 3-4 times per year) for key meetings. Our client’s corporate office is in Atlanta. This position does not need to be based there; most travel will likely be to Atlanta.

    • The work hours, Monday - Friday, are 8 hours per day. The position may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak periods.

    • Limited travel, as needed. Travel could include, but not limited to, attending conferences, customer meetings, or team/organization-wide meetings (typically held at our client’s central office).
