    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Specialist with a strong background in commercial sales to join our growing team. This role goes beyond traditional product sales—you’ll be building lasting partnerships with contractors, builders, architects, and project managers to bring large-scale projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of commercial accounts, from blueprint take-offs and estimating to coordinating multi-phase installations across job sites. You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle: prospecting new accounts, nurturing relationships with decision-makers, providing accurate and timely proposals, and ensuring projects are executed smoothly and on schedule. Responsibilities: • Build and Grow Accounts: Prospect daily to establish recurring accounts and document all activity in the company’s CRM. • Stay Connected: Communicate regularly with prospective, current, and prior accounts. • Demonstrate and Sell: Present products and services to customers, assisting them in selecting the right solutions for their needs. • Develop Quotes & Estimates: Provide accurate estimates from take-offs, blueprints, or field measures. • Support Projects from Start to Finish: • Coordinate installation dates and conduct pre-, in-process, and post-jobsite inspections. • Maintain regular communication with customers at all stages (initial contact through project completion). • Stay Organized & Report: Manage your territory, prioritize opportunities, and provide updates to management on customer needs, competitive activity, and sales trends. • Be Tech-Savvy: Effectively utilize tools such as email, CRM, and supporting software programs. Base Pay: $45,000/year On Target Earnings: $70,000-100,000/year Qualifications: • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. • Proven success in outside sales (flooring, building materials, or home improvement a plus.) • Self-motivated and results-driven with excellent time management. • Strong presentation skills and consultative selling ability. • Comfortable with CRM systems, mobile apps, and virtual presentations. • Proficiency in math to calculate square footage for flooring projects. • Analytical, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a customer-first mindset. Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
