Personal Lines Account Specialist

Location: Billings, MT (In-office only) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (some flexibility)

About the Role

Conver & Winchell Insurance is seeking an Account Specialist who enjoys working with people and providing outstanding service. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for our clients—helping them with billing questions, coverage options, and policy updates.

What You’ll Do

Provide client support on billing, coverage, and policy questions

Review and update policy information for accuracy and completeness

Use our client management system (Hawksoft) to document communications

Answer incoming calls, greet walk-in clients, and process payments

Assist with data entry, quote requests, and policy changes

Support office operations (filing, mail support, administrative tasks)

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, professional, and dependable personality

Strong customer service or office experience (insurance experience a plus)

Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems

Willing to obtain a Montana Property & Casualty Insurance License (we’ll help guide you), if you don't already have it

Compensation & Details

Hourly pay: $17 unlicensed, $18 licensed/no experience, $19 licensed with ≤2 years, $20 licensed with 2+ years

Paid training and licensing support provided

No health or retirement benefits currently offered

In-office position at our Billings location
