About the Role:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join a leading medical devices company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled financial professional to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, particularly in a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and industry regulations.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.
• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare tax filings, audit documentation, and regulatory reports as needed.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, procurement, and operations, to streamline accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations such as FDA, ISO, and SOX compliance is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Communication & Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
