This is a full-time, direct placement role and company will be discussed during phone screen.

We are looking for an accountant to join our team with experience in a manufacturing environment. You will be emersed in learning our business as you are given increasing roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Follow general accounting department systems, policies, practices, and procedures
• Preparation of required financial reports
• Improves and implements financial controls, ensuring accurate control and accounting of assets and accounts
• Gather and provide information and documents needed for inquiries
• Maintain the daily workflow of A/R, A/P and Cost Accounting as assigned
• Assist the finance team with the month end close
• Must possess good time management skills

Requirements

• College degree in accounting
• Five years of general accounting and management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Able to quickly learn the accounting software used by the organization.
• Experience in manufacturing environment
