    BaRupOn is a rapidly growing power, energy, and infrastructure development firm focused on driving innovation in grid resiliency, clean energy integration, and sustainable industrial expansion. As we expand our national operations, we are seeking an experienced In-House Accountant for our corporate office in Irvine, CA to support finance and reporting functions critical to our strategic growth.

    Position Summary

    The In-House Accountant will manage general ledger activity, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for our California operations. This role will directly support the Controller and executive leadership with data analysis and reporting for internal decision-making and external audit requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and timely financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations

    • Manage accounts payable and receivable in coordination with project managers and procurement

    • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports

    • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning

    • Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance (California-specific reporting)

    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and controls

    • Monitor inter-company transactions and ensure accurate cost allocations across projects and departments

    • Evaluate and implement accounting process improvements and best practices

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)

    • 3+ years of professional accounting experience; industry experience in energy, construction, or manufacturing is plus

    • Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite preferred) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

    • Knowledge of GAAP and California corporate tax and regulatory frameworks

    • CPA certification or active CPA track is highly desirable

    • Strong problem-solving and time management skills

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
