We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to bring our accounting function in-house and strengthen financial visibility across our portfolio of real estate and construction businesses. In this role, you will serve as the financial hub for approximately six related entities, including construction, real estate investing, wholesaling, and a high-volume real estate sales team. Your work will help transition the company from periodic financial snapshots to consistent, day-to-day financial visibility, enabling leadership to make confident and proactive decisions. The Accountant will own and manage day-to-day accounting operations, monitor cash flow and financial positioning, and collaborate closely with operations and leadership to identify challenges early and implement solutions before issues escalate. This role goes beyond traditional reporting. It offers the opportunity to build systems, create financial clarity, and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the organization. Compensation • Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 • Hybrid work arrangement (1-2 days per week in the office) • Paid Time Off Responsibilities: • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) across multiple entities • Oversee payroll processing • Handle invoicing and track payments from clients and partners • Maintain daily, accurate bookkeeping , including transaction categorization • Proactively manage cash flow, identifying issues early and proposing solutions (e.g., construction draws, loan timing, funding strategies) Support Financial Operations For: • A client-facing construction company • A property-flipping investment entity • A wholesaling business • A high-volume real estate sales team • Additional related entities • Serve as a trusted financial partner to operations and leadership Qualifications: • Proven experience in an accounting, senior accountant, or controller-level role • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger management • Experience supporting multiple entities or complex business structures • Construction, real estate, or construction-adjacent industry experience is strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date books daily • Experience with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and proactive financial planning • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through • Confident communicator who can manage vendor conversations and payment discussions professionally • Adaptable and responsive in fast-moving business environments • Solutions-oriented mindset, brings insight and recommendations, not just problems • Comfortable taking ownership and working independently with minimal oversight Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 yearly
