    Salary: 60,000–75,000/year (Based on Experience)

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Management (60%)

    • Manage full-cycle accounting: AP/AR, general ledger, and monthly closings.
    • Perform job costing analysis using engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials).
    • Reconcile inventory and material procurement costs.

    Operational Support (30%)

    • Collaborate with shop-floor teams to track labor and material efficiency.
    • Generate financial reports for leadership with actionable insights.
    • Supervise receiving/inventory documentation.

    Process Improvement (10%)

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement and production.
    • Optimize ERP workflows (training provided if needed).

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
    • 3+ years in manufacturing accounting (job shops, fabrication, or industrial sectors).
    • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
    • Ability to interpret technical documents (e.g., BOMs, work orders).

    Preferred:

    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, JobBOSS).
    • Familiarity with ASME standards or custom fabrication environments.

    Work Environment

    • On-Site: Office within an active machine shop (safety PPE provided).
    • Interaction: Daily coordination with production teams.
    • Leadership: Direct reporting to the company President.
