Position Opportunity:

Accountant is a hands-on accounting professional with proven problem solving, analytical, and communication skills. Must have experience with full cycle month-end closing processes and financial reporting requirements. This position will perform manufacturing analysis while supporting the establishment of more efficient accounting procedures. A successful candidate combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and computer skills to analyze accounts, transactions, and financial reports. The ideal candidate will also have experience collaborating with cross functional personnel and management to re-engineer existing processes targeted for improvement and drive new processes. This position requires language fluency in both Korean and English to communicate with Korean financial entities.

How you will make an impact:

1. Preparing Financial Entries: * Prepare daily journal entries and month-end accruals. * Analyze and record changes in inventory, intangibles, and provisions.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: * Record journal entries, accounts payable (AP) invoices, and accounts receivable (AR) billing. * Coordinate customized billing and process company payments promptly.
3. Financial Analysis and Reporting: * Provide insightful commentary on Balance Sheet flux analysis. * Collaborate on group initiatives to enhance accounting and reporting processes. * Assist in reconciling trading and accounting profit & loss.
4. Inter-Company Reconciliation: * Perform accounting, reconciliation, and analysis of North American inter-company receivables/payables. * Maintain and reconcile all corporate General Ledger (GL) accounts, including salary, prepayments, property, plant, and equipment (PP&E), and corporate receivables/payables.
5. Financial Reporting and Compliance: * Coordinate financial data and responses for regulatory reports. * Assist in researching the application of accounting rules to various transactions. * Assist monthly accounting and finance reports to the team.
6. Communication and Coordination: * Communicate effectively with relevant company stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

As a future Matican you bring:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Experience

• Accounting up to 2 years required.
• Pharma or healthcare a plus.
• Tax experience a plus.
• IFRS Experience a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in both Korean and English (required).
