General Ledger Accountant – BRT Extrusions
A General Ledger Accountant is responsible for recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions within a company's general ledger system, ensuring data integrity by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial information, and producing accurate financial reports to support management decision-making, all while adhering to established accounting standards and regulations; collaborating with other departments to gather necessary data and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Physical requirements:
An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn frequently. An individual in this role will need to be always aware of movement and/or noises around them when in the plant. An individual in this role must move 5lbs frequently and up to 10lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and move about an office setting as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing. This position will require frequent use of office equipment: primarily phone, computer, and all other office equipment as part of the essential functions of the role. This position may be required to move about in the plant environment where the temperature fluctuates. This role may be required to traverse the plant and to always be aware of movement and noises around them.
