    Status: Full Time, Exempt

    Baseline Fitness is looking for a highly motivated Accountant with 3+ years of experience to support our tremendous organizational growth in a highly collaborative environment.

    Job Summary

    The Accountant II will assist the Controller in timely completion month-end and annual closing processes, as well as perform financial analysis to improve business performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Take a lead role in reviewing/entering and approving journal entries across multiple entities

    Ensure company standards and policies are adhered to across accounting functions

    Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations, analyze monthly activity and validate balances.

    Prepare and present financials monthly to regional managers and department heads.

    Assist Controller, CFO and CEO in preparation of financial analysis, as well as internal and external reporting as needed

    Assist with preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit requests.

    Assist in special projects and other miscellaneous assignments as needed

    Provide recommendations to improve month end processes, financial controls, forecasting and general analytics

    Qualifications/ Requirements

    3+ years related professional experience in an accounting/finance environment

    Bachelors degree in Accounting

    General accounting experience as well as a solid understanding of GAAP, including past work with account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and account analysis

    Motivated individual able to meet tight deadlines on a monthly basis with a desire to attain team objectives

    Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of NetSuite preferred but not required.

    Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

    Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
