    Salary : Salary pay range is min. $41,860 to a max. $54,513 per year based on education & experience

    Essential Job Functions Overview

    Performs a variety of accounting tasks and functions including, but not limited to, the maintenance of statistical and financial records and transactions within established systems and procedures. Individual should strive to create a healing environment that respects the perspectives and experiences of the individuals, families, staff, and communities we serve by practicing safe, respectful communication as well as respecting individuals’ boundaries and differences.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Prepare monthly invoice summary for Verizon and Enterprise Fleet
    • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
    • Maintain fixed asset management software
    • Capital/special project cost reconciliations
    • Assist in preparation and analysis of the monthly financial reports
    • Prepare low-income tax credit monthly and quarterly reporting including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements and investor and regulatory reporting.
    • Prepare HUD monthly reporting including but not limited to balance sheets and income statements
    • Assist with HUD Project paperwork as needed
    • Assist with the preparation of year-end expenditure reports for funding sources
    • Process vendor additions and changes
    • Assist in maintaining and processing Enterprise Fleet lease records and WEX cards
    • Prepare annual 1099 forms
    • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and audits as assigned

    ** Other:**

    • Prepare documentation required for internal and third-party audits as assigned
    • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable regulations
    • Assist other finance department staff as needed
    • Ensure the safe and secure retention of historical accounting data

    ** Experience, Education, & Physical Qualifications**

    Any combination of education and/or experience providing the necessary skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be a bachelor’s degree in accounting and two years of professional accounting experience.

    Knowledge:

    Demonstrated proficiency in the principles, procedures, and practices of general accounting; general practices and principles of office management, procedures, systems, and equipment, especially those related to computerized accounting procedures. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, FundEZ and FAS Asset Accounting software.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Use of contemporary office equipment including, but not limited to, a multi-line phone system, computer, fax machine, copier, e-mail, and voice-mail; to be consistently accurate in arithmetic, reconciling accounts, and generating reports; to plan, organize, and complete work as assigned; to work effectively and professionally with co-workers and Supervisor; to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals; to recognize and maintain appropriate confidentiality of clients and work materials. Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, in the absence of supervision and always maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor.

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

    General office environment: a significant amount of time is spent using a computer.
