    Position Overview

    A growing outsourced accounting firm is seeking a client-focused Account Lead to own client relationships from onboarding through ongoing account management. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional client service, overseeing financial deliverables, coordinating offshore teams, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and accountability.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively manage multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • 3–5+ years of accounting or client-facing financial services experience

    • Experience managing client relationships and overseeing accounting or AP workflows

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

    • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

    • Proven ability to delegate work, review deliverables, and manage offshore or remote teams

    • Experience within an outsourced accounting or advisory firm is highly preferred

    • Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented with excellent judgment

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

    • Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service

    • Lead client onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the firm's processes

    • Review financial deliverables for accuracy, quality, and timeliness

    • Perform financial reviews, identify risks, and provide meaningful insights to clients

    • Oversee accounts payable workflows and resolve issues before they impact clients

    • Delegate work effectively to offshore team members and review completed work for accuracy

    • Manage project timelines, priorities, and client deliverables through project management systems

    • Monitor offshore team capacity and optimize workload distribution

    • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service

    • Drive continuous process improvements through technology, automation, and best practices

    • Represent the firm's values of ownership, trust, judgment, and efficiency in every client interaction
