As we scale, we need a skilled Accountant to handle our financial operations, ensuring smooth bookkeeping, compliance, and financial analysis.
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial health of our PDR business. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, tax preparation, and budget analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger
Reconcile bank statements and track cash flow
Prepare and manage invoices, payments, and expense reports
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze financial data to provide insights on profitability and cost-saving opportunities
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Payroll & Taxes
Process payroll and ensure compliance with local tax laws
Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other necessary filings
Collaborate with external tax professionals to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies
Compliance & Financial Best Practices
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory requirements
Implement accounting software and streamline financial processes as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (experience in automotive or service industries is a plus)
Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and payroll processing
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a startup environment and manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills for financial reporting and collaboration with leadership
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in an automotive repair, mobile service, or small business setting
Familiarity with business insurance, licensing, and regulatory requirements
