Accountant

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled accountant with bookkeeping and tax experience.. This role focuses on providing expert accounting and tax services to businesses and people, giving them financial clarity and strategic advice.
You will be helping our clients help their customers achieve their financial goals through meticulous bookkeeping, expert tax preparation, and financial consulting.

This is a Direct Hire Position

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Annual Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 2+ Years

Here are the key responsibilities for the Accountant position:

• Oversee and manage monthly bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online for various small businesses.
• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including general ledgers.
• Communicate directly and effectively with clients, handle document requests, provide updates, and explain financial information clearly.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and accounting standards in all financial activities.
• Identify and recommend potential tax-saving strategies for clients.
• Assist in preparing quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Collaborate with internal team members to improve workflows and meet deadlines efficiently.
