    Job Summary

    RAJA Medical, a manufacturer and distributor of leading-edge medical and aesthetic equipment for the professional aesthetic industry seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions by executing daily accounting tasks with strong attention to details. This will be a full-time on-site position in Falls Church, Virginia or Fairfax, VA., The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transactions

    Reconcile bank statements

    Prepare financial reports and statements

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations

    Process payroll

    Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

    Issue and prepare invoices

    Perform Inventory reconciliations to books and records.

    Post credit card transactions to proper expense accounts

    Post expense reports to proper expense accounts

    Perform reconciliations, noting and reporting discrepancies found in records

    Board new employees in ADP

    Prepares monthly sales tax, annual business tax and tangible property tax returns.

    Assists in the administration of company’s health benefit programs.

    Perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

    Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

    QuickBooks software experience a plus

    ADP software payroll experience a plus
