As the Accountant, you would be responsible for supporting a small public accounting firm by preparing tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base. This role involves hands-on accounting work, direct client interaction, and collaboration with senior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting across multiple engagements.

Key Job Duties

• Prepare individual and business tax returns.
• Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve accounting inquiries.
