    The SQA Finance team is looking for a Staff Accountant to coordinate and assist other members of the Finance team in all related activities surrounding payroll and account management (accounts receivable/payable).

    The goal will be to provide additional support in critical tasks within our internal finance department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accounts receivable and credit and collection functions, which include billing, credit and collection, bank deposits, maintenance of cash receipts and accounts receivable records, as well as related financial reporting activities
    • Accounts payable function, which involves the processing of payments and maintenance of disbursements and accounts payable records, as well as related financial reporting activities
    • Payroll processing functions including verification of time and expenses
    • Payroll-related human resources functions including benefits administration, handling of unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee vacation and sick leave monitoring
    • Fixed assets tracking and monitoring functions, which involves the maintenance of fixed assets records and related depreciation schedules, and related financial reporting activities
    • Financial reporting function

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
    • Technically strong in Excel and software skills
    • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Local to Los Angeles and able to support at HQ in Palos Verdes
