Accountant
Compensation: $70,00 - $85,000
My client is a long-established and well-respected Facilities Services company near Burlingame, CA. They have a reputation built on strong customer service and relations and treating their employees with that same respect. They are highly collaborative and value accountability, strong work ethics and a focus on process improvement.
This is small office environment where collaboration and the willingness to help in other accounting/finance areas is critical to your success, the team’s success and the company’s success.
Reporting to the Controller, you will be challenged with:
- A/P, A/R
- Data entry
- Reconciliations
- Deposits
- Assist with GL and JE duties
- Assisting with Job Costing
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Backup for payroll
What you bring to Genesis:
- A “get stuff done” attitude
- An “I can prove I can do it” attitude
- A passion for accounting – detail and accuracy are what drive you
- Strong Excel – comfortable with XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and direction (because you get things done
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of work experience
- Experience in environments that provide services to multiple job locations (janitorial services, maintenance services, construction)
