We are looking for a Client Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with small business owners to develop effective accounting practices and prepare accurate financial statements. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Receive, process, and reconcile statements
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Setup and run payroll
• Communicate directly with clients and enhance client relationships
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn
• Proactive, collaborative work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel & tax software a plus
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred

Our firm offers health insurance and 401(k) benefits. Our hours are typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. During tax season we require 45-55 hours per week, but offer timeframe flexibility for completion, and reduced summer hours.
